PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Crete Wanderer accepts bookings subject to the following conditions:

1. To Secure Your Booking To secure a booking, our company requires a completed booking form and the necessary deposit or full payment before the activity or tour starts. Clients booking by telephone, on the website, or by email will be deemed to have accepted these terms and agreed to the following conditions: - They have read and accepted our Booking Conditions and general information pages contained on our website. - They appreciate, on behalf of all persons included in their booking, the risks involved in outdoor and adventure activities. - They or anyone else on their booking does not suffer (and has not suffered) from any pre-existing medical condition which may prevent them from actively participating in the tour. - The person completing the booking warrants that he/she has full authority to do so on behalf of all persons whose names appear on the booking, and confirms that all such persons are fully aware of and accept these conditions. In the case of non-payment of the balance by the due date, Crete Wanderer may treat the booking as cancelled by the client. Moneys paid to agents acting on behalf of Crete Wanderer are held for the client until the client receives written confirmation of the acceptance of a booking. Deposits are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

3. If You Cancel Your Booking Cancellation Policy for Private Tours and All Other Services: - Cancellation Deadline: Bookings for private tours must be cancelled at least 7 days before the scheduled departure. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made after this timeframe. - Cancellation Charges: Should the client choose to cancel their booking, the following charges will apply: * 7 days or more before departure: Retention of the deposit. * 6 to 3 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price. * Less than 2 days (48 hours) before departure: 100% of the total tour price. - Tour Cancellation by Crete Wanderer: If a tour is cancelled by Crete Wanderer due to adverse weather conditions, safety concerns, or unexpected circumstances, Crete Wanderer will issue a full refund for all payments made or offer an alternative date/tour.

4. Travel and Cancellation Insurance Clients are strongly advised and responsible for effecting sufficient personal travel insurance. Travel insurance is highly recommended for all clients while on a tour organized by Crete Wanderer. Clients, together with their personal property including baggage, are at all times solely at their own risk. Clients are wholly responsible for arranging their own insurance with adequate protection for the full duration of the tour in respect of medical expenses, injury, repatriation, cancellation, and curtailment.

5. Liability Insurance & Limitation of Liability Limited insurance is held by the operator as required by Greek law. The client acknowledges that outdoor activities and transport involve inherent risks. While Crete Wanderer takes all reasonable steps to safeguard its operations and clients, clients assume responsibility for personal safety and belongings. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crete Wanderer shall not be liable for direct or indirect losses, damages, or injuries occurring outside the scope of its gross negligence.

6. Tour and Activity Participation Clients agree to accept the authority and decisions of Crete Wanderer’s drivers, tour leaders, and team members while on tour. If in the opinion of such persons the health, level of fitness, or conduct of a client at any time before or during departure appears likely to endanger the safety, comfort, or progress of a tour, the client may be excluded from all or part of the tour without refund. If a client commits an illegal act, the client may be excluded immediately and Crete Wanderer shall cease to have responsibility for them. No refund will be given for any unused services.

7. Changes to Your Tour or Activity While Crete Wanderer will use its best endeavors to operate all tours as advertised, reasonable changes in the itinerary may be made where deemed necessary or advisable. Crete Wanderer reserves the right to change any of the facilities or services described on the website before a booking is made. If a major change is necessary, the client will be informed as soon as reasonably possible before departure and will have the choice of accepting the change, purchasing an alternative tour, or receiving a full refund.

8. Cancellations by Crete Wanderer & Force Majeure Crete Wanderer reserves the right to cancel a tour in any circumstances, but will not cancel less than 7 days before departure except for force majeure or the client’s failure to pay the final balance.
